Enjoy Dinner at King Uduk Serdam Pontianak

SIMPLYASEP.COM Saturday night 11 April 2020 yesterday, I invited my two children, Abbie Muhammad Furqan Haryono (12), and Tazkia Montessori Putri Haryono (10) dinner (dinner) at Raja Uduk Serdam Pontianak. The serdam stands for Sungai Raya Dalam.

For the citizens of Pontianak, Raja Uduk is one of the most exciting culinary spots and places to eat family and young people because it is packaged in a slang with a cozy banged atmosphere. In my note, I have eaten more than once at Raja Uduk, especially at the "headquarters" of Raja Uduk, located on Jl. Teuku Umar No. 76 Pontianak.

The menu that I and the children chose that night actually wanted to try Raja Uduk with the variant of the famous Roast Chicken known as "Roasted Chicken King". But unfortunately when we came to Raja Uduk Sungai Raya Dalam Pontianak, the variant of uduk rice with its roasted chicken king was sold out without being left over.

"There are only fried chicken, sir," said Raja Uduk crew who dressed in the typical Malay style of Belanga Bay. I also discussed it with my children, and finally we agreed to order uduk rice with 2 servings of Fried Chicken. One portion of uduk rice consists of one large piece of fried chicken, one cup of uduk rice, and fresh vegetables. While the uduk rice sauce has been presented on each table complete with forks, cutlery and tissue boxes.

Orange Coconut Ice
One of the mainstays of Raja Uduk is Coconut Coconut Ice. Serves are making this drink dish suitable for the stomachs of children, and also adults. In terms of taste, it is relative for everyone. But according to my tongue, this Coconut King Orange Palm Orange Ice gives a sensation of fresh refreshed banged. The young coconut which is in a glass of Coconut Orange Ice is really soft texture, and not just any Young Coconut.

Usually the name of Coconut Young Ice (with or without the addition of milk, orange and others-ed) that is usually bought at the edge of the road is coconut that is not young that has a hard texture, and is rather difficult to chew.

Not because they don't have teeth but indeed the texture of the Young Coconut is actually not young Coconut. If it's like this the name is not Young Coconut Ice please. Then the use of additional sweetener in the form of sugar water is also felt sometimes excessive. The excess glucose in the drinks we consume every day is also not good for health because it has the potential to invite diabetes.

That's why I say for my tongue, the Orange Coconut Ice dish served by Raja Uduk, located on Jl. Sungai Raya Dalam Pontianak C3-4 is really Young Coconut Ice. So if one sentence is unilaterally combined by me, then it's called Young Coconut Ice. Hehehe. Because there is a mixture of lemon juice in the Young Coconut Ice. Be called it is Young Coconut Ice added with orange juice. It makes a sweet and sour salt sensation. Exciting and exotic in my tongue.

For price? Do not worry. The prices presented at Raja Uduk Sungai Raya Dalam are affordable for every family. For the menu that I and my two children ate, the total amount was around Rp.96,000, - (ninety six thousand rupiah) for 2 servings of uduk rice, and 3 glasses of orange coconut water. Affordable right?

Raja Uduk was fronted by his owner named Mas Rizal Kurniadi, who apparently was an alumni of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) when giving his enlightenment in the Pontianak Sharing Academy Class with the theme of doing business for young Pontianak children on the 5th Floor Graha Pena Pontianak Post around 2014 ago .

Raja Uduk Jalan Sungai Raya Dalam which has the tag "the best nasi uduk in town" also provides other menus that are not less appetizing: Raja Bone Soup, Raja Iga Bakar, Bakwan Maize, Fried Cabbage, Kampung Kamek Red Rice, Tempe Penyet , Uduk Pasung Rice, Smoked Tempe Tofu, Ice Serbat, Exotic Tea and Dower Penyet Chicken. Ah, I want to go to Raja Uduk again.(Asep Haryono)
