Looking At Coffee Brand "DUA ENGGANG"

The next process is packing. The two Enggang branded coffee factories, pack coffee in two packages, namely sachets and cans. For sachets, they are sold at Rp. 3,000, while for cans Rp. 45 thousand per kilogram. "For the cans we pack in sizes eight and four kilograms," said Andreas Eko, PD Kapuas Pratama Owner.

Andreas said, in one day, his coffee company was able to produce about one ton of coffee powder. Family business that has been running for almost 25 years, the sales have spread to several regions in West Kalimantan, especially the area flowed by the Kapuas River. "Most of our coffee is spread to Sanggau, Sekadau, and Nanga Pinoh areas," he said.

The coffee he produced, also to supply a number of coffee shops in West Kalimantan, especially in Pontianak. Especially nowadays, coffee shops in the city are mushrooming, so the demand is getting higher.

Regarding the quality of coffee, Andreas said that he was not playing games. He ensured that the selected coffee came from the best coffee beans, which he supplied from a number of regions in Indonesia, including in East Java and Lampung. He also did not rule out the possibility of a supply of coffee beans from West Kalimantan.

It's just that so far he hasn't found a supplier of coffee beans from West Kalimantan that can consistently meet factory needs. "Pontianak coffee beans are good, but their availability is uncertain. This month there will be no more next month, I don't know when there will be more, "he said.

Regarding product standardization, he ensured that the coffee products produced had been referring to national standards from the National Standardization Agency. Brand Dua Enggang, has also obtained permission from BPOM and Halal Certification from MUI West Kalimantan. "We have obtained a standard certificate from BSN. At that time we got help from Baristand (Industrial Research and Standardization Center), "he said.

In the future, it will maximize the marketing side of the product by marketing it through a number of large marketplaces in the country. With this effort, it is expected that the market share of coffee products will be wider. He is also optimistic that the coffee of the Dua Enggang brand can be accepted by the public, especially as the products are now standardized.
